3D Personnel's client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Fire & Security engineer to be based out of their Belfast office

Role Overview

The Engineers will provide reactive response, minor works and planned maintenance services for a variety of public and private sector buildings throughout Northern Ireland
What you'll do

The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive
o To service and maintain fire detection, access control, door entry, intruder alarm and IP/Analogue CCTV systems to the required standards and regulations.
o To provide 24 hour call-out cover on a rota basis.
o To assist in the installation of small-works orders of all applicable systems to the required standards and regulations.
o On occasion, to conduct site surveys and provide the required information to price small works; giving due consideration to all applicable security and fire risk factors.
o To carry out any other job specific duties as deemed appropriate by the directors of our Clients' Company

What you'll bring
As a Fire & Security Engineer your main skills and experience will include:
o To have experience in the servicing and maintaining of fire detection, access control, CCTV systems, and intruder alarm systems to the applicable British and European Standards and knowledge also of all relevant BAFE/NSI codes of practice.
o To be conversant with the products and systems installed and with any significant limitations inherent in such products and systems.
o Ability to operate PC software packages used for configuration and maintenance purposes
o Knowledge of relevant Fire standardsincluding BS.5839 Pt 1 - 2013 and BS.5839 Pt 6 - 2013
o Knowledge of relevant Security standards (BSE.4737, PD6662, DD243) with working knowledge of NACP
o Excellent Diagnostic and fault finding skills and resolve issues in a logical manner
