3DPersonnel’s client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Construction manager. The successful candidate will join the client’s team on a permanent basis, undertaking projects in the London area. Projects will include but not limited to:

Commercial projects
Commercial Fit-out projects
Residential projects – apartments and houses
Mixed use developments – commercial, healthcare, residential
The successful candidate should have experience in large scale projects as listed above (6yrs), preferably within a leading main contractor.

Responsibilities

To support the Project Manager
To manage and supervise on site personnel
To assume a leadership on site with regard to the work being carried out and by following & implementing the site safety plan & rules.
To ensure that employees have the relevant training and expertise to carry out their work safely and professionally.
To manage the labour resources on site to ensure efficient working.
To complete time sheets need to be filled in accurately & submitted on time
To liaise with payroll with payroll queries from site
To maintain discipline on site, report any incidents and take action as appropriate.
To manage and train apprentices in accordance with FAS training
To assist Construction Manager to plan labour & material resources
To use the purchasing system to acquire materials as required in the most cost effective manner.
To keep all plant maintained & kept secure. All hire plant must be off-hired as soon as it is finished with.
To reduce costs as far as possible.
To check all materials before you install them to ensure they are fir for use & comply with the project specifications.
To assist in ensuring systems are handed over to the client
To advise the project manager when you are doing work that is not part of our tender.
