Job Description

3D Personnel are seeking to recruit an experienced and ambitious Site Clerk to work with an exciting London property developer. Our client is well known for affordable eco-friendly homes all built within one hour commute from Central London.
The successfully applicant with have a strong understanding of the construction industry and will have the autonomy to bring in new systems and processes.
Our client is looking for an ambitious and driven individual who is keen to progress and grow with the company.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Keep track of labour on site, including carrying out physical checks and submitting timesheets.
* Driving continuous improvement within the department.
* Order materials according to requirements, fill out requisitions and arrange delivery of materials.
* Ensure materials provided by subcontractors are compliant with the specification.
* Checking and verifying material goods delivered.
* Ensure full adherence by all to the Health and safety requirements, including site walk arounds.
* Carry out site inductions, ensure all staff are competent.
* Be aware of what EHS documentation is required on site and check that it is in place for personnel, plant and equipment
* Create letters, reports and other documents as required by Site Manager/ Project Manager.
* Update the drawing register and maintain the site filing system.


Qualifications / Experience

*NBQ Qualification/ Degree in relevant discipline Engineering , construction management desirable or equivalent experience
* SMSTS or SSSTS.
* Excellent computer skills in MS Office. Autocad beneficial.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Previous experience in Health & Safety, document control and ordering materials.
