The Business Development Managers role is crucial to the success of the Trades & Labour team. Every day is different.

A large portion of the time will be spent visiting customers on site to find out how we can help them. The Business Development Manager could find themselves on a construction site one day, or visiting a client in their office the next. They are happy to be hands on. They deal with customers at all levels, from Director to Site Managers, to Sole Traders and are able to adapt their approach to the customer in hand.

The role includes a mix of traditional cold calling, building existing relationships and developing contacts on site so that we are their first choice when hiring.
