Assistant Site Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Woking, GU21

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Site Manager to support a dynamic team in Woking. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual eager to grow in a fast-paced environment and contribute to delivering high-quality construction projects. As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Site Manager with the smooth running of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Site Manager in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate in assistance with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor on-site progress, helping to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Support the site team, promoting a positive and productive working environment.
  • Assist in resolving any issues or challenges that arise, ensuring effective problem-solving.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Site Manager and Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry - ideally a minimum of 2 years
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to support the management of multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assist in decision-making under pressure.
  • Be able to showcase drive and initiative
