Headline of the Finishing Manager role
With an excellent tradition of building retirement, assisted living and care homes this developer has a strong landbank with plans to increase its turnover. This role will be delivering the handover of a select site 3 blocks of apartments. On the project you will be responsible for one of the blocks on site, taking it from 2nd fix through to handover
Day to day programme monitoring and effective trade management to help create a zero snagging list and get properties ready for handover. The role will be for around 5 months on a freelance basis completing around March/April 2025.
Key experiences you should have as Finishing Manager
✔ Solid work history of delivering the construction of care or residential schemes for developers
✔ Be a great communicator with the ability to support your site team
✔ Developing knowledge of the residential construction process
✔ Be from a trade background or have developed skills from activity being on live projects
✔ Great customer service skills and the ability to deliver on new homeowners' expectations
Overview of the Finishing Manager role
With the site at snagging stage the ideal candidate will have exposure and experience of working on residential or care home apartment developments at finishing/snagging stage
Your key duties as Finishing Manager
✔ Work within a site that is producing high end timber frame build properties
✔ Ensuring quality and working towards NHBC standards
✔ Monitor and control on material levels
✔ Co-ordinate labour and trades
✔ Monitor and support the site build programme
✔ Benefit from a proactive site team who will actively support your career advancement
✔ Work closely with the site manager to deliver excellent zero defects
